Who it is for
- Women aged 16–60 with recognised vaginal thrush who have both internal symptoms and external itching
- Those who prefer a cream format over a pessary
See a doctor instead if: this is your first episode of thrush; you are under 16 or over 60; more than 2 infections in 6 months; pregnant or breastfeeding (use only on medical advice); abnormal bleeding, ulcers, blisters, lower abdominal pain or fever.
How to use
- Read the patient information leaflet before use.
- Insert the pre-filled internal cream using the applicator at night — one dose is the complete internal treatment.
- Apply the external 2% cream thinly to the external area 2–3 times a day until symptoms settle.
- If symptoms have not improved within 7 days, speak to your doctor or pharmacist.
Frequently asked questions
Q: What is the difference between this and the pessary Combi?
A: Both are single-dose internal treatments plus external cream. This version uses a 10% internal cream; the other uses a soft gel pessary. Effectiveness is comparable — it is a matter of preference.
Q: Will it damage condoms?
A: Yes — clotrimazole products can weaken latex condoms and diaphragms during use and for up to 5 days after. Use alternative precautions.
Safety and storage
- Always read the patient information leaflet before use.
- Do not use if allergic to clotrimazole or any listed ingredient.
- Store below 25°C. Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
