Treatment does not normally exceed two weeks unless advised otherwise by a doctor or pharmacist.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eFor faecal impaction:\u003c\/strong\u003e This condition should first be confirmed by a healthcare professional. The usual dose is 8 sachets daily, consumed within six hours, for no longer than three days. All 8 sachets may be dissolved in 1 litre of water. Follow the advice of your doctor or pharmacist. If you have impaired cardiovascular function, do not take more than 2 sachets in any one hour.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMaintain an adequate fluid intake.
