📘 How to Use — Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1

Remove the cap from the pen.

Step 2

Clean the end of the pen with the wipe provided.

Step 3

Remove the syringe wrapping.

Step 4

Remove the needle shield and cap.

Step 5

Rotate the plunger to “5”.

Step 6

Hold the pen upright and gently tap to remove air bubbles.

Step 7

Press the plunger until a small amount of fluid comes out of the needle.

Step 8 — Dose Reference

Select dose based on your programme.

Step 9

Rotate the plunger according to the dosing chart.

Step 10

Insert the needle into the skin (subcutaneous), approximately 3 inches (7–8 cm) from the navel.

Step 11

Press and hold the plunger for 5–10 seconds.

Step 12

Withdraw the needle from the skin.

Step 13

Place the needle protective cap back on.

Step 14

Unscrew the needle and dispose of it as per sharps disposal guidance.

Step 15

Place the pen cap back on and store in the refrigerator.
