This private service is designed for adults suffering from mild to moderate facial erythema caused by rosacea. Our trained pharmacists can assess your condition and provide treatment under a Patient Group Direction (PGD) without the need to visit your GP.

When placing your order, it is important to keep your phone unobstructed. This will allow our pharmacist to easily communicate with you.

✅ Who is eligible for this service?

• Adults aged 18 years or over

• Experiencing facial redness (erythematotelangiectatic rosacea) as the main symptom

• Mild to moderate symptoms, with no visible blood vessels

• Prefer to access treatment through the pharmacy instead of their GP

❌ Who is not eligible?

• Under 18 years of age

• Pregnant or breastfeeding individuals

• Patients with severe rosacea or unclear diagnosis

• Anyone who recently had laser treatments, chemical peels, dermabrasion, etc.

• Individuals with certain medical conditions (e.g., cardiovascular, liver or kidney issues)

• Those taking specific medications that may interact with treatment

💊 About the Treatment

• Medicine: Mirvaso® 3mg/g Gel

• Active Ingredient: Brimonidine tartrate

• Dosage: Apply once daily – maximum of five pea-sized amounts per application

• Pack size: 30g

• Treatment duration: Up to 30 days supply per consultation

⚠️ Important Notes

• Redness and flushing may worsen temporarily at the start of treatment – this is common

• Avoid applying to broken, irritated, or sunburnt skin

• Let the gel fully dry before applying cosmetics or other topical products

• Avoid triggers such as extreme heat, alcohol, spicy food, and hot drinks

• If redness worsens or discomfort occurs, stop using the gel and consult a doctor
