What is the Clearblue Digital Ovulation Test Kit?
The Clearblue Digital Ovulation Test Kit is designed to help you to discover when your two most fertile days are. By testing every day, your Clearblue Digital Ovulation Test Kit will be able to detect changes in your hormone levels that show that you’re ready to become pregnant. Ideal for those who want to maximise their chances of getting pregnant.
How will this test kit know if I am at a fertile time in my cycle?
When you use your Clearblue Digital Ovulation Test Kit it detects a hormone that is associated with fertility, called the luteinising hormone, or LH. When the test kit notices a surge in your LH hormone levels, it will tell you that you are at your most fertile, so you’ll know that your body is ready to conceive.
How to use the Clearblue Digital Ovulation Test Kit.
If you are planning to use your Clearblue Digital Ovulation Test Kit, try not to urinate for 4 hours before performing the test. If it’s easier, you may choose to use your first pee of the day to perform the test. To begin, remove an ovulation test stick from its wrapper and insert into your test holder. Place the absorbent end of your test kit into your urine stream for 5 – 7 seconds, taking care not to get the test holder wet. Wait for three minutes before reading your test results, after you have read your test results remove the testing stick from the holder and throw it away.
How to read your ovulation test results.
The Clearblue Digital Ovulation Test Kit has an easy to read display that will show one of two results when your test is complete. The results are:
A blank circle – this shows that your test has not detected an LH surge, meaning that your peak fertility days have not arrived yet.
A smiley face – this shows that your LH levels have surged, meaning that your 2 most fertile days have begun. You will maximise your chances of becoming pregnant if you have sex in the next 48 hours.
How accurate is the Clearblue Digital Ovulation Test Kit?
Your Clearblue Digital Ovulation Test Kit is over 99% accurate at detecting the surge in your LH hormone. This means that it is highly accurate at detecting when your most fertile days are, being more accurate than calendar and temperature methods of tracking ovulation.
