What is Lanacane Cream?
This Lanacane cream is a form of treatment for skin conditions such as itching and irritation caused by insect bites and stings, as well as cuts and scrapes. The active ingredient contained in this cream is benzocaine. Benzocaine is an anaesthetic that gets into the skin to reduce itching and irritation.

This cream is suitable to be used by adults and children aged 12 and over. It should not be used by anyone who is allergic to the ingredients contained in the cream. It should not be used on large areas of skin, a skin rash, sunburnt, broken, or infected skin. This cream should also not be used if you have an irregular heartbeat, a history of abnormal blood pigment levels, and with sulphonamides or cholinesterase inhibitors. If you are using any other form of medication, then you should speak to a doctor before using this cream.

How should Lanacane Cream be used?
To use Lanacane, apply the cream onto the affected area of the skin up to 3 times a day. Do not use for more than 1 week. If problems persist after using, speak to a doctor.
