Vaccine Details

• Brand: Bexsero or Trumenba (subject to availability)
• Administration: Intramuscular injection
• Eligibility: Individuals aged 6 months and over
• Course: 2-4 doses depending on age

Who Should Not Receive the Vaccine?

• Infants under 6 months of age
• Individuals with severe allergies to vaccine components
• Those with a history of anaphylaxis to previous Meningitis B vaccines
• People with evolving neurological disorders including uncontrolled epilepsy
• Those currently experiencing acute febrile illness (postpone until recovery)

Side Effects

Common reactions may include fever, digestive discomfort, and mild swelling or redness at the injection site. For young children, paracetamol is recommended post-vaccination to help manage fever. Please consult our healthcare professionals for full medical advice.

Important Information

Parents or legal guardians bringing a child must present photo ID confirming legal guardianship. For children under 2 years, we recommend bringing paracetamol for post-vaccination fever management.
