Simple Linctus BP is a citric acid monohydrate oral syrup for relief of a mild, dry or irritating cough. It helps soothe and coat the throat. Bottle: 200ml.

Active ingredient

Citric acid monohydrate BP 125mg per 5ml. This standard BP formulation contains sucrose; it is not the separately named Sugar Free product.

How to use

Adults, the elderly and children over 12 years: one 5ml spoonful up to four times daily. Not recommended for children under 12. Read the supplied leaflet and do not exceed the stated dose.

Warnings and storage

Check the label if you have diabetes or an intolerance to sugars. Do not use if allergic to any ingredient. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use in pregnancy, or if symptoms persist or worsen. Keep out of the reach of children and follow the storage directions on the bottle.
