Prefers to access treatment through a pharmacy instead of visiting a GP
❌ Who is not eligible?
Under 2 years of age
Has bullous impetigo, widespread or recurrent infection
Has systemic symptoms (e.g. fever), severe infection, or immunosuppression
Suspected conditions like cellulitis, herpes, fungal infection, or eczema
Diagnosis is unclear or not confirmed
Allergic to fusidic acid or other cream ingredients
Currently taking medications that interact with fusidic acid (checked by pharmacist)
💊 About the Treatment
Medicine: Fusidic acid 20mg/g cream
Application: Apply gently to affected area 3 times daily for 5–7 days
Do not discontinue early even if symptoms improve
Do not apply near the eyes or inside the mouth
Supplied quantity covers the treatment area and duration
