Who it is for
- Adults and children aged 16 and over with cold or flu symptoms including a chesty cough.
- People who prefer a hot drink to tablets when they have a blocked nose and a sore throat.
Not suitable for: Children under 16 years. Anyone allergic to paracetamol, guaifenesin, phenylephrine or any other ingredient. Do not take if you have severe coronary heart disease, high blood pressure, an overactive thyroid, diabetes, closed-angle glaucoma, phaeochromocytoma or an enlarged prostate. Do not take if you are taking, or have taken in the last 14 days, a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) antidepressant. Do not take with any other paracetamol-containing medicine or any other cold and flu remedy. Ask a pharmacist or doctor before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you have liver or kidney problems.
How to use
- Read the label and Patient Information Leaflet (PIL) before use.
- Pour the contents of one sachet into a mug and fill with hot, but not boiling, water. Stir until dissolved.
- Sweeten to taste with sugar, honey or your usual sweetener if you prefer.
- Adults and children aged 16 and over: take one sachet, repeated every 4 to 6 hours if needed.
- Do not take more than 4 sachets in 24 hours.
- Speak to a doctor or pharmacist if your symptoms last more than 5 days or get worse.

How many sachets can I have in a day?
No more than 4 sachets in 24 hours, with at least 4 hours between doses.
Can children take it?
No. The current licence is for adults and children aged 16 years and over.
Can I take paracetamol as well?
No. Each sachet already contains 1000mg of paracetamol. Do not take any other paracetamol-containing medicine at the same time.
What does each ingredient do?
Paracetamol eases pain and lowers a raised temperature, phenylephrine is a decongestant for a blocked nose, and guaifenesin is an expectorant for a chesty cough.
Why is this pack reduced?
It is clearance stock with damaged outer packaging. The sachets inside are sold as licensed; check the expiry date printed on the pack before use.
How should I store it?
Do not store above 25°C and keep the sachets in the original package.

- Contains paracetamol. Do not take with any other paracetamol-containing product. If you take too much, get medical advice straight away even if you feel well, because of the risk of delayed liver damage.
- Do not take for more than 5 days without speaking to a doctor or pharmacist.
