Who it is for

Adults and children over 12 with red, irritated eyes from dust, wind, swimming, smoke, air pollution or long periods of reading or screen work.
People who want short-term relief of redness rather than a lubricating drop for dry eye.

Not suitable for: Anyone allergic to naphazoline hydrochloride or any other ingredient; children under 12; people with glaucoma or other serious eye disease. Ask a pharmacist or doctor before use if you have high blood pressure, diabetes, an overactive thyroid, heart or circulation problems, arteriosclerosis, depression or an existing eye condition, or if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding.

How to use

Read the label and Patient Information Leaflet (PIL) before use. Check the tamper seal on the cap is intact before first use.
Remove contact lenses. Wash your hands, tilt your head back and gently pull down the lower eyelid.
Squeeze 1 or 2 drops into each eye, 2 to 3 times a day. Do not let the dropper touch your eye or eyelid.
Wait at least 15 minutes before putting contact lenses back in or using any other eye product.
If redness increases, or there is no improvement after 24 hours, stop using the drops and see a doctor.

How do Murine Irritation & Redness Relief drops work?

Naphazoline hydrochloride is a local vasoconstrictor. It narrows the small blood vessels in the eye, which reduces redness and swelling.

Can I use them with contact lenses?

Take your lenses out first and wait at least 15 minutes before putting them back in. The drops contain benzalkonium chloride, which can discolour soft contact lenses.

Can children use them?

Only children over 12 years. Do not use in children under 12.

How long can I use them for?

They are for short-term relief. If your eye gets redder, or has not improved after 24 hours, stop and see a doctor. Discard the bottle one month after first opening.

Can I drive after using them?

If your vision is blurred after using the drops, do not drive or operate machinery until it clears.

Safety and storage

For use in the eyes only. Do not use if the tamper seal is broken.
Do not store above 25°C. Do not refrigerate or freeze. Discard one month after first opening.
If you have eye pain, changes in vision, or the redness gets worse or lasts more than 24 hours, stop use and see a doctor.
Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
