Who it is for

Adults who want a targeted single-strain daily gut supplement rather than a broad multi-strain blend
People with sensitive or easily unsettled digestion building a consistent daily gut routine
People whose gut routine has been disrupted by travel, stress or dietary change

Note: if you have persistent or severe digestive symptoms, unexplained weight loss or bleeding, see your GP — a supplement is not a substitute for diagnosis.

How to use

Take one capsule a day, at any time, with or without food.
Use consistently — give it at least 4 weeks; the strain needs continuous daily intake to maintain its presence in the gut.
Can be taken alongside antibiotics (space doses a few hours apart).

Frequently asked questions

What is special about the 35624 strain?

Bifidobacterium longum 35624 is one of the most studied single strains in gut research, developed over 20+ years with clinicians and microbiome scientists in Cork, Ireland. Alflorex is the only supplement that contains it.

How is Alflorex different from other probiotics?

Most probiotics combine many strains at high CFU counts. Alflorex takes the opposite approach: one precisely characterised strain at a clinically studied dose. For targeted gut support, strain identity matters more than raw CFU numbers.

When will I notice a difference?

Responses vary; most people should allow around 4 weeks of consistent daily use. Alflorex is a food supplement and is not intended to treat any medical condition — if you have a diagnosed gut condition, follow your doctor's care plan.
