Frequently asked questions
What does a comprehensive multivitamin like Forceval do?
Forceval combines 24 vitamins, minerals and trace elements. Among the formula's authorised EU/UK claims, vitamin C and vitamin D contribute to the normal function of the immune system, and iron and several B-vitamins contribute to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. The full list of nutrients and their amounts is on the pack.
Who should not take Forceval capsules?
Do not take Forceval if you are allergic to any ingredient or to peanuts or soya, if you have hypercalcaemia (high blood calcium), or if you have an iron-storage disorder such as haemochromatosis. It is not for children under 12.
Can I take it with my medication?
Some medicines can interact with the nutrients in a multivitamin, including phenytoin (for epilepsy) and tetracycline antibiotics. Tell your doctor or pharmacist about any medicines you take before starting Forceval, and check first if you have a thyroid problem or are pregnant.
Does it contain iron?
Yes. Forceval provides iron as part of its 24-nutrient formula. Because of this, it is not suitable for people with iron-storage disorders, and you should not take it alongside another high-strength iron supplement without advice.
