How to use

Open one sachet and stir the contents into a small glass of cool water, juice or yoghurt at room temperature. Do not mix with hot drinks, which can damage live cultures.
Take one sachet daily for the full 28-day pack to complete the four-week routine.
Take at a consistent time each day — many people find first thing in the morning works well.
Do not exceed the daily dose stated on the carton.
Store the remaining sachets in their original carton in a cool, dry place.

Frequently asked questions

How is Mucosal Barriers Restore Plus different from Life's Flora Great Barrier?

This Plus variant is a 28-sachet, four-week course pack. The Great Barrier sister product is a 30-sachet pack with the original full ingredient call-out on its label, naming 25 strains alongside Totipro postbiotic, L-glutamine, vitamin U and medical-grade bromelain. Both deliver 15 billion CFU per sachet, so the choice is driven by pack size and the variant your pharmacist or routine prefers.

What strains are in the product?

The carton ingredient panel is the authoritative source for the strain list. For the original Great Barrier formulation the manufacturer lists 25 broad-spectrum strains including Bifidobacterium breve, Lactobacillus fermentum and Lactobacillus acidophilus. Check the pack of the Plus variant on receipt for the exact list.

How long should I take it for?

The 28-sachet pack is designed as a four-week daily routine. Many adults repeat a four-week course quarterly or twice a year. Your pharmacist can suggest a schedule that fits your circumstances.

Can I take it with antibiotics?

Yes, but space the doses by at least two hours so the antibiotic does not directly affect the live cultures. Many people continue the probiotic for two to four weeks after the antibiotic course finishes, as advised by their pharmacist.

Does this product need to be kept in the fridge?

No. The sachets are shelf-stable at room temperature when kept in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Always check the carton for any specific storage instructions printed by the manufacturer.
