Frequently asked questions

What is Bio-Calcium D3 K1 K2 used for?

Under the EU/UK Register of Health Claims, calcium and vitamin D are needed for the maintenance of normal bones, and vitamin K contributes to the maintenance of normal bones. Vitamin D also helps the normal absorption and utilisation of calcium. The product combines all four nutrients in one tablet.

Can I take this with blood-thinning medication?

This product contains vitamin K, which contributes to normal blood clotting and can interact with anticoagulants such as warfarin. If you take blood-thinning medication, do not start this supplement without first telling your doctor.

How long does one pack last?

At the recommended dose of two tablets a day, the 150-tablet pack provides up to a 75-day supply.

What is the difference between vitamin K1 and K2?

Vitamin K1 and vitamin K2 (here as MK-7) are two forms of vitamin K. Both contribute to the maintenance of normal bones and to normal blood clotting under the EU/UK Register of Health Claims. This product provides 50µg of each per two-tablet dose.
