Active Ingredient: Povidone-Iodine 10% w/w

Videne Alcoholic Tincture is a licensed, rapid-drying povidone-iodine based cutaneous solution for topical skin disinfection. This MHRA licensed medicinal product is approved for use as a pre-operative skin antiseptic.

Method of Application

Apply undiluted to the area to be disinfected. Paint thoroughly using a gauze swab. Allow to dry completely.

Active Ingredients

Povidone-Iodine 10% w/w. Also contains: Industrial methylated spirit (95%), alkyl phenol ether sulphate, citric acid anhydrous, disodium hydrogen phosphate, purified water.

Important Safety Information

For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. Do not use if you are allergic to iodine or povidone-iodine. Not suitable for use on broken skin without medical supervision. Contains iodine. If irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional. Keep out of reach of children. Do not store above 25°C. Shelf life: 18 months.
