Frequently asked questions
How does Wind-Eze work?
Simeticone is an anti-foaming agent. It brings together the small bubbles of trapped gas in the gut so they can be passed more easily, relieving bloating and discomfort. It is not absorbed into the body.
How fast does Wind-Eze work?
Because it acts directly on the gas bubbles in the digestive tract, relief from trapped wind is usually felt fairly soon after a dose. Take it after meals and at bedtime as needed.
How long can I take Wind-Eze?
It is for short-term relief of trapped wind and bloating. If your symptoms last more than 14 days or get worse, speak to your pharmacist or doctor.
Can I take Wind-Eze in pregnancy?
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, speak to your pharmacist or doctor before use so they can advise whether it is suitable for you.
Can children take Wind-Eze?
These 125mg capsules are for adults and children aged 12 and over. They are not recommended for children under 12.
