Optrex Hayfever Relief 2% w/v Eye Drops 10ml

Provides soothing relief from typical hayfever eye symptoms—itchiness, redness, soreness, and watering. Uses sodium cromoglicate to prevent histamine release in the eyes.

Adults and children aged 6 and above

Active Ingredient & Description

• 2% w/v Sodium Cromoglicate (20 mg/ml; ~0.7 mg per drop)
  A mast cell stabiliser that prevents allergic symptoms in the eye.

How to Use (Dosage)

• Adults and children 6+: 1–2 drops in each eye, up to 4 times daily.

• If no improvement after 2 days—or using over 14 days—seek medical advice.

Hazards & Important Info

• Remove contact lenses before application; wait 15 minutes before reinserting.

• Contains benzalkonium chloride, which may irritate eyes or affect soft lenses.

• May cause temporary blurred vision; don’t drive/operate machinery until clear.

• Do not use if sensitive to any ingredients.

• Consult healthcare provider if pregnant, breastfeeding, or for children under 6.

• Discard 28 days after first opening.
