In-Store Testing

Our in-store blood testing service brings private health checks to central London. Ways Pharmacy is a GPhC-registered pharmacy in Holborn, London, and samples are analysed by our laboratory partner, London Medical Laboratory — a UKAS-accredited laboratory.

The menu covers around 30 tests. General screening includes the General Health Profile with 19 health indicators, plus dedicated women's and men's health profiles. Targeted tests cover cholesterol (7 indicators), diabetes (HbA1c), liver function, fertility hormones (5 indicators), pregnancy (beta hCG), hepatitis B, HIV and GLP-1 weight-management monitoring, while Allergy Complete screens 295 allergens. Many tests can be taken in store or as a self-administered home kit. Results are returned for you to review and discuss with our pharmacist or your GP — a test is a starting point, not a diagnosis. Your results are returned for you to review and discuss with our pharmacist or your GP. A blood test is not a diagnosis on its own — if anything in your results needs following up, we will point you towards the right next step.
