Frequently asked questions

Is Deep Freeze Cold Patch a medicine?

No. It is non-medicinal and contains no painkiller. It works by cooling the area, in the same way as ice, which can reduce blood flow and help calm and soothe the area.

Can I use it with painkillers?

Yes, the patch can be used alongside oral medicines such as tablets. Do not put it on the same area as a gel, cream or other topical treatment.

How long does one patch last?

Cooling can be felt quickly and continues for up to 3 hours. You can apply a new patch as needed, but do not use more than 4 patches one after another on the same area.

Can I use it during pregnancy?

Yes, it is suitable to cool, soothe and comfort the back during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Always discuss new pregnancy symptoms with your midwife or GP.

Can children use it?

It is suitable for children over 6 years old. Use by young children should be supervised, and it must not be used on infants or anyone who cannot remove the patch themselves.
